Hello from Tennessee! My name is Kathy and I am the blogger and life coach behind A Heart Homemade. A blog I was inspired to create after being a homemaker for 34+ years and mom for 24+ years. I share my experiences, both the good and bad, to help you find joy and purpose as a homemaker.
I currently live in the Memphis, TN area with my husband and college-age daughter. In addition to being a homemaker, I’m also an entrepreneur with over a decade of experience managing a retail business from my home, working as a virtual assistant, and now as a writer/blogger and life coach. I graduated with a Bachelor’s from Baker College after being in school on and off since graduating high school. More recently, I attended Liberty University’s Life Coaching Graduate Program.
Life coaching is perfect for me because I was born a helper. Anything to do with helping, teaching, nurturing, and cheering on others, that’s so much me! It fits well with my desire to work for myself, share my creativity, and serve God by serving others.
And, that is why I felt the need to start A Heart Homemade as a way of combining my life experiences, my life coaching, and my desire to help others, all while being reach out to women like you via the internet in ways we never could offline.
